Trainee – Software Development/ Ukrainian Refugees (m/f/d)
Starting on 01.08.2022, we offer a trainee program specifically for refugees from Ukraine who recently arrived in Germany and would like to take the career path to become a software developer.

The Traineeship
Our three-month bootcamp takes place at our headquarters in Wiesbaden (Hesse). In intensive trainings and hands-on workshops all held in English, you will be taught the following technical skills and methods which are key to a successful career in agile software development projects, both in backend and frontend:
- Hardware Basics
- Git and GitLab
- State-of-the-art Web Standards and Frameworks
- Databases
- Test Automation
- Crash Courses: Security and Authentication
- Agile and Scrum Basics
- A German language course is provided throughout the training period.
After completing the bootcamp you will subsequently transition to the first customer project during which you will be able to apply your newly acquired knowledge and skills directly at one of our customers. Here, you will specialize in relevant frameworks and technologies. During this phase, you will also be supported by a mentor and by an experienced DevOps Engineer.
You will work as a Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) in a Germany-wide team working with agile DevOps methods and you will consult, design, develop and maintain innovative software solutions for our customers.
Your Profile
- A university degree – e.g. in Computer Science, Computational Business Analytics – or a completed IT-oriented training program would be desirable, but we also welcome applicants who wish to make a career change
- Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language
- Interest in new technologies and tools
- Enthusiasm for complex tasks
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Independent and self-reliant work style
- Good communication skills with a high level of proficiency in English (corresponding to B2 level or higher) and a strong motivation to learn German
